The
Scriptures
We
believe that God has revealed His mind to us in the form of a Book
called the Bible. The Old and New Testaments are the final authority
for the faith and practice of the people of God. God preserved His
Word both eloquently and completely in the 1611 Authorized Version. |
The
Existence of GOD
The
Bible reveals the person of GOD in His creation. Those created have
but to look to themselves and the creation to see without doubt that
the God of the Bible Lives and manifests His power over and in the
affairs of all men.
|
|
The
Lord Jesus Christ
We
believe that God manifested Himself in the flesh in the person of
the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ was born of a virgin, filled with the
Holy Ghost, lived a perfect life, was seen of men who witnessed His
death for our sins, His resurrection from the grave, ascension into
Heaven and heard His promise to come again.
|
The
Holy Spirit
As
a part of the Godhead, He is the Person who fills and indwells the
believer, was active in the creation of the world, is the author of
the Bible, empowers the believer, holds back or restrains the wicked
and teaches the believer the Word of God. |
|
The
Creation of Man
During
"the creation week" ( six literal days ) God spoke this
world and all that is therein into existence. As part of the divine
creation God created man in His image and He created woman as man's
help mate. |
The
Question Of Sin
Man
named Adam and his wife Eve sinned against God by partaking of that
which God had warned them not to. Through this voluntary act of
disobedience the consequences of the curse of sin fell upon them and
their posterity. Physical and Spiritual death fell upon all in that
all sin by their own choices.
|
|
The
Provision of Salvation
Man
by nature sins or breaks the commandments of God willfully. God, Who
is righteous and Holy, requires a punishment for such acts of
disobedience. The punishment is eternal separation from God in a
place called Hell.
Only
through the sacrifice of the personal death of His only begotten Son
Jesus Christ could a payment or restitution be made for our sin. Now, through being born again,
we can obtain the forgiveness of God and the gift of eternal life.
|
The
Home
The
first of all institutions established by God was the Family. Home
would be more than a place, it would be the foundation of society,
established with the man as its head and the wife and children as
its crown. Marriage would be the union by which a man and a woman
would be united in a relationship recognized by God. |
|
The
Government
This
is the second instruction established by God for the purpose of
providing order, protection, and continuance for mankind. The laws,
statues, and commands of government are meant to provide stability
and peace to our country.
|
The
Last Days
Prophecy
is set forth in the Scripture which speak of a coming day of
reckoning. This involves The return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His
Church, and then with His Church to establish a 1000 year reign of
righteousness, a time of judgment on the nations, eternal judgment
in ‘the lake of fire’ of Satan and all who follow him in
rejecting The Lord Jesus Christ.
A
New Heaven and a New Earth beyond the imagination of any living
creature with eternal blessings for the saved of all ages will be
created by God.

The
Church
Local
assemblies began meeting from the beginning of the New Testament
Times with Jesus Christ as their head, with the Bible as their
authority, with the gospel and the preaching of it around the
world as their goal.
Two ordinances were established to be carried out by the
Local
Church
,
1. Baptism, which
is required of someone who has been born again, showing their obedience and is necessary for Church
membership.
2. The Lords Table, called
the Lord’s Supper in which the believer partakes of the bread and
of the juice as a memorial to the death of Christ for our sins.
The
ordinance is to be administered to and for the membership of the
Local assembly.
